Profill Holdings needed to move their unreliable ad hoc order fulfillment business to a standardized and automated platform.   A major challenge for the company was that their supply chain partners did not have a file standard. Every interaction with customer data was ad hoc and required manual intervention that was time-consuming and created data accuracy issues.  As a result, Profill generally did not accept EDI orders because it was more trouble than it was worth.

Using Jitterbit, the company was able to develop a data mapping template that each of their partners could use to submit orders and update inventory. Jitterbit is key to Profill’s fulfillment business, eliminating manual entry and replacing it with automated and standardized  communication between their partners’ disparate  inventory file types and their own internal systems.  The result is up to date, accurate and readily accessible data across their business groups.
