Harmonize your Quote to Commission Process

Quote to Commission.  This process was once complex because ad hoc administration was the only way to track progress across these different functions.  Today, a sales rep can track the status of their deal and commission all from their CRM of choice using a few simple tools offered by our partners: Apttus, Docusign, & Xactly.

Let’s talk a bit about the different pieces of this process:

  • Apttus –  Apttus Quote-to-Cash drives the business process between the buyer’s interest in a purchase and the realization of revenue. Built on Salesforce1, Apttus is designed to boost sales effectiveness by guiding users to the best possible quotes for all products, pricing, and channels and improving contract responsiveness, efficiencies and oversight.  With the addition of Jitterbit, integrating pricing, materials, quoting and contract management allow you to easily automate renewal quotes based on previously agreed upon pricing and terms and automatically update the back office ERP with the required information.
  • Docusign – DocuSign enables you to sign with your mouse, upload a scanned image of your signature, or type in your name and select from a variety of signature styles to sign a document. With the DocuSign Ink mobile app you are able to sign with your finger. Whichever option you choose, your signature is a valid electronic signature. This signature will be associated with a unique identifier so that every document you sign will be recorded as signed by you and you alone.  By implementing Jitterbit, information provided by the customer during the signing process like PO Number, shipping preference and address changes can be automatically updated in your back office ERP without any manual intervention from the sales person and the signed contract can be stored in the ERP or your location of choice.
  • Xactly – Xactly’s sales performance platform helps you take control and easily manage every aspect of your sales incentive compensation program. Inspire better performance, save precious time, and learn to incent right- all with one secure cloud based solution.  Using Jitterbit for integration, Xactly can easily pull information required from any back office financial systems to calculate the commission, update the financial records and ensure all of the people that earned the commission will get paid on time.

So where does Jitterbit fit in?  While our partners all integrate nicely with Salesforce, getting your data from an ERP system like SAP is more difficult.  Using Jitterbit, an organization can take order data from SAP to Salesforce, use Apttus for quoting, Docusign for sending the order to their customer, and Xactly to correctly award compensation to a representative for a successful sale.
