Last October, we hosted our first virtual hackathon for 40 business and IT professionals to show off their talents and use our no-code App Builder tool to create a business app that solved real-world organizational challenges.
And, wow, did they deliver!
We invited customers and Jitterbit team members to participate in a two-week virtual hackathon.
Several teams from across our customer base and internal business operations all took the challenge to submit their best business app idea. The selected teams received one-on-one application and development coaching and App Builder support throughout the event.
Hackathon participants used App Builder to develop many new apps.
The virtual hackathon sparked innovation and collaboration. The most popular app ideas focused on organizing customer contact data and managing leads.
Teams made up of people from sales, marketing, finance, and operations worked on developing apps to improve workplace efficiency and productivity. A sampling of the ideas were apps focused on:
- Invoice management
- Lead tracking
- Field service management note-taking
