Whitepaper: LDAP Integration Made Easy

Using the Jitterbit Open Source Integration Platform to Integrate Directory Services with Enterprise Applications

Directories such as Active Directory are a central place where many IT organizations track and manage their network assets. From network Domains, Sites and Subnets to Servers, Workstations and Users, much of our network assets are described in our directory services. The status of our network assets e.g. which servers are not responding, which version of an operating system is installed on workstations or is a database server running out of space is typically provided through other tools such as Network Management Systems or a Database Management Utilities.

IT groups have to use various tools to view their network assets, making issue tracking and resolution difficult. They could consolidate this information and publish it on Intranet sites or through Share Point, but integrating information from directory services with other network management systems has been a challenge.

This whitepaper explores how Jitterbit can quickly and easily integrate LDAP as both a source and target system.
