About partner.wsdl 9.0 and enterprise.wsdl 10.0

Postby heiritic on Fri Aug 31, 2007 1:48 am

Heloo everyone, first of all I'm new to jitterbit and still confused about partner.wsdl 9.0. Can jitterbit run partner.wsdl version 9.0? the jitterbitpack for salesforce sample is using enterprise.wsdl version 7.0. I tried to login and is successfull. But the query is not running. Here is the error from the log :

Fatal Error
Transformation failed

Error
Failed to perform transformation. The webservice call failed. Reported error: Failed to post the file "C:\Jitterbit Integration Server\DataInterchange/Temp/op_8_d8bfb31d-ef03-4020-af8f-2e52444ee0e2/t18_req.xml" to the web service at "https://www.salesforce.com/services/Soap/u/9.0". Reason: The server returned an HTTP Status Code : 500 Internal Server Error Error is: The server encountered an unexpected condition that prevented it from fulfilling the request. The web service returned a SOAP Fault: Code: ns1:UNKNOWN_EXCEPTION Message: UNKNOWN_EXCEPTION: Destination URL not reset. The URL returned from login must be set in the SforceService [CODE:10721]

Is partner.wsdl 9.0 still not supported for jitterbit 1.2.3.1? Any help would be appreciated.. If I miss something, let me know..thanx

Edwin

The partner WSDL is supported in Jitterbit. If you can send me your Jitterpak (support@jitterbit.com) then I'd be glad to look at it. Please remove any hard coded usernames and passwords you may have entered into the login request transformation before your export the Jitterpak.

First, I'm sorry for this lated reply....

No need, the wsdl file is already running. Thanx though for the information. Now I have another issue Ilan..

I'm using enterprise.wsdl version 10.0. When I create, delete, my created and deleted info file are empty but the created and deleted data are functioning well. What I'm so confused is why the info for create and delete are empty. The SFDC should give the Id after processing the data so I know if the data is successfully created or deleted right? Or is there something missing that I don't know about? Any help would be appreciated..Thanx

Edwin,

I'm not sure what you mean when you say that the "created and deleted info file is empty". Are you referring to the web service response.

The web service response should give you the ids that are processed and any error messages. I am not sure why you are not seeing this.

I would be glad to look at your Jitterpak if you email it to support@jitterbit.com

Ilan.

Ok Ilan, I've already sent you my jitterpak. Yes, it should give the Id from the web service response but in my case, it looks like no response and my info.txt is empty but data creation is successful. Maybe there is something wrong with my jitterpak. Thanx for your help..

Edwin, we'll need to look at this using gotomeeting. I have also tested the 10.0 partner WSDL and it worked fine for creating Accounts and Contacts. The two things you need to be aware of when using XML Any is that you need to create a new folder for each field and you need to set the record generator correctly. The record needs to be generated at the sObject level and then the field array at the Any level.

Ilan, it works fine with create 1 data with partner.wsdl, but when it creates more data i.e. using source : csv file that has 2 or more data in it, it will give error referred to duplicate value I think. Here is the error :

Error while processing \\127.0.0.1\files\create_account.csv
Failed to perform transformation using local source file: "C:/WINDOWS/Temp/jitterbit/OpId_31_32813b73-1c7b-4ead-8bbb-a3b064110b49/create_account.csv".
This transformation was partially successful.

The webservice call failed. Reported error: Failed to post the file "C:\Jitterbit Integration Server\DataInterchange/Temp/op_31_3e22eb8c-480d-4b55-a09b-dcc7ec1aa9b7/t97_req.xml" to the web service at "https://na5-api.salesforce.com/services/Soap/u/9.0".
Reason: The server returned an HTTP Status Code : 500 Internal Server Error
Error is: The server encountered an unexpected condition that prevented it from fulfilling the request.
The web service returned a SOAP Fault:
Code: soapenv:Client
Message: A duplicate value was specified for field 'Name' in object 'Account', duplicate value 'Randy4312' prior value 'Edwin4321' [CODE:10721]

Is there a problem If I use create node in my case?. I don't understand what you mean about input data in key value pairs..maybe you can explain more.. Thanx Ilan
