Jitterpak for Salesforce transformation failed

Postby Hal9000 on Wed Feb 04, 2009 3:13 pm

I downloaded and installed Jitterbit client and server. I follwed the instructions in the Integration Tutorial, changing the path for the 4 targets. I deployed the project to the server. But when I run the Login to Query Account transformation, I get the error message below. I have not entered my own Salesforce credentials (yet), nor have I updated the WSDL. I would love to get this working -- I've been searching for over a year for some way to download our salesforce data unattended using a scheduler, but everything I've looked at is incredibly complicated and/or does not really work. Thanks in advance for any constructive advice.

Here's the error log:

If you're trying to figure out what to do with Salesforce integration we would recommend that you view the following video: http://jitterbit.com/Product/Webinars/j ... -login.php

That will get you going and then you can add more functionality as needed. We are going to create clips for other Salesforce methods.

Hello,

I'm having the same problem - the Jitterpak doesn't seem to work. I followed the instructions to the letter but I keep getting webservice call failed, and there are no other error messages, the remainder of the message for some reason lists my server specs. I tried your tutorial but I'm also having some problems. 1 - it tells you to specify a database in the first step, no database exists. I used Postgres to create one, using the exact same fields, but its hard to say whether or not I did that right. Did the best I could with no info on that in the tutorial. 2 - when I tried to test the basic login transformation I got the same message as above. There doesn't seem to be anything different between the two, which makes me think there's something wrong with our setup. 3 - oddly when I go back to the jitterpack to compare my login setup with the pak's setup, there is no source file listed for either of the login operations. This is the first thing set up in the tutorial, so I wonder if that's just a different way of doing things or if that is the root of my problems with the jitterpak. Can anyone help?

thanks,

Hi Hassab,

This error usually comes in because of network issues. So, if you could try again and let me know if you face the same trouble.
Also, you can copy the URL and paste in a browser and see what it opens. If it shows - :405 GET not supported", then its perfectly fine, but if it shows error like "time out", then there is some problem with the network.

You can make a search on the SalesForce related JitterPak on forum and take help from there.
Let me know if you have more issues.

Cheers'
