Jitterbit Selected to Participate in Intel® Certified Solutions Program
First Members of Certified Solutions Program Announced at Intel Developer Forum
Oakland, Calif. – Sept. 23, 2008 – Jitterbit, the leading provider of open source integration software, has been accepted as an early participant in the Intel® Certified Solutions Program announced last month at the Intel Developer Forum (IDF).
The Intel® Software Partner Program is designed to provide select vendors valuable planning, development, marketing, and sales resources. As part of this program, Intel Certified Solutions Program participants will be able to leverage developer resources for Intel platforms and technologies with greater speed and agility.
“We are excited to be among the inaugural partners for this groundbreaking program,” said Sharam Sasson, Jitterbit chairman and CEO. “Inclusion in the Intel Certified Solutions Program validates the quality of - and critical need for - Jitterbit’s solutions, which bring industry-leading open source development to integration processes.”
“The Intel® Certified Solutions Program moves in lockstep with technology development at Intel,” says J. Scott Harrison, director Partner Programs Organization for Intel. “By earning the Intel Certified badge, solution vendors can be more confident their applications take advantage of the Intel technologies available to their customers, both now and in the future.”
Participation in the Intel Certified Solutions Program provides access to the SpikeSource Solutions Factory and gives Jitterbit the opportunity to earn the Intel Certified – Powered by SpikeSource brand badge. Additionally, as part of the Intel Software Partner Program, Jitterbit gains early access to Intel’s roadmap and emerging technologies that can further maximize the capabilities and performance of Jitterbit’s popular open source integration platform. With early access to development platforms, Jitterbit will be able to take advantage of improvements in threading, application performance, core utilization, and software development on Intel® Architecture processors.
The open source solution of choice for SOA, Web Services, Point-To-Point and ETL integration, Jitterbit simplifies the creation, deployment and maintenance of application and data integrations, both within and between organizations. Jitterbit has been adopted by more than 3,000 organizations, with customers representing some of the world’s largest companies and government agencies including NASA, Continental Airlines and the State of Iowa.
Jitterbit Enterprise 2.0, made available on August 18, is designed for organizations looking to run their integrations in a supported production environment. New features included multi-threading and data chunking features that allow enterprise organizations to flexibly scale and manage large integration operations.
