Open Source Integration Gains Traction as Jitterbit Announces New Customers

Customers reap significant business returns through data integration efficiencies.

Alameda, CA May 7, 2007 -- Jitterbit, Inc., the pioneer of open source integration productivity software, today announced new customers. The news reflects the company's increasing commercial traction in the integration market and the acceptance of open source integration software by the business community.

With Jitterbit, users and developers can quickly and affordably connect customer data from a variety of sources and formats, such as local and hosted ERP and CRM applications, legacy systems, data warehouses and online marketplaces.

Each of the new customers achieved significant time and cost savings when compared to proprietary and scripting alternatives. Jitterbit's customers include users in both mid-sized businesses and enterprise level organizations.

"More and more organizations are responding to the benefits of Jitterbit's professional open source model," said Sharam Sasson, CEO of Jitterbit. "Our customers tell us they are attracted by the low total cost of ownership -- as well as Jitterbit's ease-of-use that eliminates integration complexity."

Jitterbit's highlights in 2007 include:

• Impact Promotional Publishing, LLC, a provider of promotional products and services for over 27 years, recently purchased a CRM system to complement the company's proprietary promotional system. To ensure that it could provide the highest level of customer satisfaction, Impact used Jitterbit to keep customer information current across both systems. "In the past we had to expend significant effort to custom code synchronization routines and they were difficult to troubleshoot when our data was not synchronized as expected," said Marc Walker, CIO at Impact. "In our new system, we wanted to integrate our data without significant development time and future maintenance hassles. Jitterbit was able to address our requirements in a matter of days."

• Daxten, a leading vendor and distributor of infrastructure and KVM management solutions migrated to SugarCRM in order to manage customer relationships across their distributed sales organization. "In order to have transparency between our operations and customer facing teams we needed to integrate customer and product information between our CRM and ERP systems," said Chad Rislov, Managing Director at Daxten. "In just a couple of hours we were able to integrate our ERP system directly with Sugar. It was surprisingly easy and intuitive. I am certainly not an SQL expert, but with a basic understanding of functions and formulas we were able to use Jitterbit to support all our integration requirements."

• Petzl, a manufacturer of innovative climbing gear, caving gear, work at height equipment, and headlamps needed to integrate its customer-facing website with its internal i-Series system to ensure better reliability of their customer data. "As our integration requirements changed, updating and maintaining our custom scripts became time-consuming and costly. With Jitterbit we now have a future flexible solution backed by their professional support team," said Daniel Hoechst, IT Manager "The plugin capability of Jitterbit 1.2 has allowed us to meet unique requirements for altering our files after data transformation had occurred. We were able to customize Jitterbit without actually making any changes to the product"

• TerpSys, a leader in information technology and internet business solutions adopted Jitterbit as its integration tool of choice. TerpSys recently completed a solution for The Justice Project, a nonpartisan not-for-profit organization. This solution required synchronization between multiple CRM systems, and TerpSys used Jitterbit to quickly consolidate data between Salesforce.com and GetActive. "Jitterbit is a flexible and easy to use tool that allows us to save time and money on otherwise complex integration schemes -- savings and benefits we are able to quickly pass on to our customers. We're looking forward to using Jitterbit in future integration projects," said Yasir Usman, Manager of Solutions Development at TerpSys.
