Senior Developer
We are actively seeking a senior developer to join our team. Our work philosophy is centered on each developer taking ownership and working with all aspects of a software feature or project. Job Responsibilities:
- Software Development: develop, support and test all aspects of product
- Customer Technical Support: initial prioritization, troubleshooting and timely response to user requests and problems via email and phone. May also be asked to participate in pre-sales support calls
- Must be able to work independently and be self motivated
Job Requirements:
- 5+ years of Java experience
- 3+ years of C++ experience
- An understanding of patterns, and modern development methodologies
- Database knowledge: concepts, SQL, and programming with databases
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- BS in Computer Science or Software Engineering
Desired Requirements:
- Version control software
- XML
- Web services
- EDI
- Linux, Windows, Solaris, and other OS's
- JMS
- JDBC / ODBC
- Specific RDBMS's: PostgreSQL, Oracle, MySQL
- Shell scripting
- Standards relating to workflow, business data exchange, etc.
- PhD or Masters Degree
